Reserves recent form.

After a tough Christmas period of games, mainly away, we managed to come away from two very tough top of the table teams honours even. Having drawn twice with title contenders Bodmin, and Saltash away, we had a successful visit to Witheridge against our near neighbours. That was followed by progression in the WCP Cup away at Helston, followed up this week by Helston making the return trip for their first ever visit to Ladysmead, only to be sent on the journey home with an unsuccessful trip and 2nd defeat in a week against us. The next round of the WCP Cup sees us drawn at home against an Exmouth Town side that are currently the only side left flying the flag for the Peninsula League. Should be a corker!!      On the team front, the management have secured the services of former 1st team captain James Richards. James decided to leave Bideford after the amount of traveling became too much for him! A fantastic acquisition not only for the reserves, but also for the club! He is a fantastic player who brings a wealth of experience and ability back to the club, and will no doubt boost our squad again, as we look to keep our run of good form going and improving! Ethan Phillips also returned this week from his month away holidaying down under!! We move on to our next game away to Plymouth Parkway on Saturday, another team near the top pushing for a title challenge, and again this will be another tough test for us!
