Tiverton Reserves 5 – 1 Camelford

The match started with Tiv much on the attack Camelford mustering up to 8 players in defence but against run of play first chance fell to Bobby Hopkinson on 10 mins with a blistering shot from 30 yards just wide .After more pressure from Tiv their 12th min. free kick from wide on right was fumbled by Camelford keeper dropping for Micky Williams to steer in close to near post . On 21mins Ethan Phillips hit a strong shot from 25yds that was only parried by the keeper into the path of Mortimer who slotted home. After further sustained pressure from the home side Ethan Phillips netted when he back healed a low cross from Kenny Ord on 37 mins. With just half a minute of the second half played Bobby Hopkinson pounced to lob the Tiv keeper when a defender trod on the ball sending it loose to Bobby. This gave Camelford heart and they then gave a good account of themselves for most of the second period apart from two lapses when they allowed Lloyd Cop to power in two very similar goals both  headers from  deep right wing crosses into the box which he buried one on 55min the second 3 mins later.
