Biography
Alex maybe the younger of the Faux brothers and he may not have made his first team debut until six months after Adam, but he has since gone on to establish himself as a regular member of the team and at the age of 22 is fast approaching 200 games for Tiverton. Having spent two years with the club’s Youth team he then gained senior experience with Taunton Town before returning to Ladysmead in 2008 where he was initially an understudy to regular left-back Chris Vinnicombe.
Due to Vinnicombe’s premature departure Alex racked up 42 games in his first season at Tiverton and for the next three seasons was the undisputed first choice in his position, although he also made sporadic appearances in an attacking midfield role. The arrival of Lewis Tasker in the summer of 2012 means that for the first time Alex has a genuine contender for the number 3 shirt, and thus far the pair have shared the duties.
