Biography
Joe had a formidable goalscoring record in local football and he has managed to carry on that prowess onto a higher level. He scored for fun with Liverton United and then with Western League Dawlish Town, so when Tiverton were in desperate need to some extra strike power he was the obvious candidate to step into the fold.
Bushin made the switch to Ladysmead shortly after the start of the 2009/10 season and soon got in amongst the goals, netting a hat-trick against Elmore in the Devon Cup to open his account. He has since gone on to score at a rate of better than one goal every three games, and his all-round game has improved immeasurably under the tutelage of manager Mark Saunders. Already with 43 goals to his name in a Tivvy shirt, should he remain at the club then there is every possibility he could force his way up the list and become one of the club’s most prolific goalscorers.
