Biography
Jules arrived at Ladysmead with Southern League experience having turned out for Weymouth, and earlier in his career had also played in the Conference South with Dorchester Town. But perhaps most significantly he had also forged a partnership with Joe Bushin at Dawlish, so there was, in theory at least, no need for a settling in period at Tiverton. However, goals were few and far between until a substitute appearance against Gosport Borough which saw Emati-Emati turn the game with two late strikes, and later in the season he scored a sublime goal against Thatcham from all of forty yards.
Mercurial and skilful, Jules adds a physical presence to the Tivvy attack as well as the ability to retain possession and create chances out of nothing. His record in front of goal might not be the best but his all-round contribution to the team has proven invaluable at times as he is capable of offering that little something different, that je ne sais quoi.
