Biography
Unquestionably the most talented player to have progressed through the youth ranks at Tiverton, Owen made his senior debut at the age of sixteen and became the club’s youngest ever goalscorer when he netted against Exeter City in the semi-final of the Devon Cup in March 2011. Despite this impressive start to life amongst the first team at Ladysmead Owen pent most of the following season with the Reserves and Under 18s teams where he continued to score at an excellent rate, helping the Reserve side to the Devon & Exeter Division Two title in their inaugural season.
In 2012 he was brought into the senior squad on a more permanent basis and scored five goals from nine starts at the beginning of the season before an ankle injury kept him sidelined for a month. But with talent and composure beyond his years Owen can look forward to a very successful career in the game, with scouts from Football League clubs already monitoring his progress.
